Finally, we will honestly introduce some current technical limitations to help you use the service better.

First, you can complete account registration and login through various methods. After logging in, we'll start exploring from [Voice Management](https://app.vocu.ai/voices), where you can create characters and add any audio samples for voice cloning, and set names and descriptions for them. After adding characters, you can go to the [Vocu Studio](https://app.vocu.ai/generate) page, where you can use the character voices you created to generate your first speech.

### How AI Models Work <a href="#how-to-work" id="how-to-work"></a>

Our **Vocu Large Voice Model** has been pre-trained on massive amounts of audio, covering various types of content, but most notably **audiobooks** and **regular conversational audio**. If your cloned audio samples and target text are of these types, you will typically achieve better results when generating speech. Our model will try to mimic the **tone, speed, emotion, pauses, loudness, acoustic environment, breathing sounds, accent, and vocalization** characteristics of the cloned audio samples, understand the context of the target text as much as possible, and synthesize them to produce the most matching speech.

### Shortcomings and Limitations <a href="#issues" id="issues"></a>

The current version series of the voice model **(V2.9 and higher)** has achieved human-like speech generation capabilities, but it is not perfect. You may encounter the following issues during use:

* **Occasional Unstable Results**: You may occasionally encounter some poor-quality generation results. You can try setting the generation style to stable, which can improve overall stability, but may sacrifice some expressiveness of the voice. You can also generate the same text multiple times and choose the best result.
* **Stability or Quality of Other Language Content May Be Lower Than Character Language**: V2 and higher models support bilingual (Chinese and English) cloning and synthesis, and V3 series models add support for more languages. In cross-language generation, the model will try to pronounce foreign languages with the character's voice through imitation and reasoning, but since different languages have different pronunciation systems, the performance of cross-language content cloning and synthesis may be slightly lower than content in the character's native language.
* **Not Very Good at Handling Excessively Exaggerated, Sharp, or Highly Unique Cloning Samples**: When using excessively exaggerated, sharp, or highly unique cloning samples, you may encounter issues with decreased audio quality, similarity, or stability. You can try to improve this by generating a single sentence multiple times and using the most satisfactory result as a sample for cloning.

{% hint style="info" %}
Our latest voice large model **(V3.0) series** has been specifically optimized for the above issues and will continue to optimize to improve work efficiency and reduce limitations.
{% endhint %}

### Create Character <a href="#create-character" id="create-character"></a>

[View Detailed Introduction](/voices/create)

In addition to using community characters, you can also create a character on the [Voice Management](https://app.vocu.ai/voices) page, upload or record audio samples for it, and then use this custom character for speech generation.

You can also summon the character creation panel by selecting the "Create New Character..." button in the popup when selecting a character on the [Vocu Studio](https://app.vocu.ai/generate) page, and use it to create a character.

{% hint style="info" %}
Sample quality is more important than length. Noisy samples may produce poor results. Please provide high-quality sample speech as much as possible. Currently, sample speech length needs to be **greater than 2 seconds** and **file size not exceeding 20M**. You can also try to obtain high-quality vocal audio samples from any audio using **vocal separation/audio noise reduction/vocal beautification/loudness normalization** and other functions of some **audio editing software**.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
V2 series models **(V2.9) only support Chinese and English**. When using V2 series models, please ensure that the input text does not contain any non-Chinese and English characters, such as Japanese and Korean, otherwise it may cause **generation failure** and other issues.

Starting from V3 series, we have added Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese in addition to Chinese and English, as well as more than 30 accent variants of these languages in total. Please ensure that the model version and text content you use are in line with the corresponding support capabilities.
{% endhint %}

### Speech Generation <a href="#generate" id="generate"></a>

After you have your first character, you can start generating your first speech on the [Dubbing Studio](https://app.vocu.ai/generate) page.

#### Text Content Editing <a href="#text-edit" id="text-edit"></a>

[View Detailed Introduction](/generate/text-edit)

You only need to assign a character and enter any text in the text input box on the page to start speech generation. If you need to optimize multiple paragraphs of text, you can click the **Add Paragraph** button to add more, or you can paste the content you need through **Auto-paragraph Addition**. After clicking Add, the system will automatically **split** your text and add it to the list above one by one.

After that, you can also edit each item in the list individually, assign characters, adjust order, delete content, insert downward, and other operations.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Currently, each paragraph can enter up to 1,200 characters. Since each modification of the content of a single paragraph requires regeneration of the corresponding paragraph, if you may need to adjust frequently during use, we recommend that you control the content length of a single paragraph to 50 to 100 words, and keep it as a single or several complete coherent sentences without extra line breaks or extra spaces. This can facilitate optimization of audio details and subsequent editing.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}

{% endhint %}

#### Generation Parameter Configuration <a href="#gen-config" id="gen-config"></a>

[View Detailed Introduction](/generate/config)

After completing content editing, you can adjust generation configuration at the gear icon of the paragraph (below each paragraph) on the page.

**Generation presets** have a great impact on the final generation effect. We have pre-configured relatively balanced presets as default settings. If you need to adjust, you can switch between different presets to find the most suitable effect for you.

{% hint style="info" %}
In many cases, you can first try using the default parameter configuration for generation, and then consider adjusting if it does not achieve your expected effect.
{% endhint %}

<details>

<summary>Manually Adjustable Advanced Generation Settings</summary>

* **Presets:** Used to control the performance strategy adopted by the voice during generation, determining the basic expressiveness of the voice in hearing. Different generation presets focus on different parameter directions and can determine the understanding and expressiveness between the output voice and the text (for example, using the balanced preset, the voice will balance pronunciation performance and text understanding performance, fit the understanding of content, while using the creative preset, the voice will show a more performance-oriented pronunciation method based on the context of the text, and will have relatively unique effects when dealing with different scenarios.)
* **Emotion Style:** For the content input during generation, different style tendencies will optimize and restore different detail parts during processing. When selecting text-oriented, the result details will be improved according to the semantics of the input text, more in line with the text context; when selecting character-oriented, more attention will be paid to restoring the direct expressiveness of the voice character sample.
* **Generation Seed**: Controls the randomness during generation. The same seed will produce similar results during generation. This value can be an integer from 1 to 2147483647. The default setting of -1 is completely random. Usually no adjustment is needed.
* **Speech Rate**: Controls the speed of generated speech. The larger the value, the faster the speech speed. It can be adjusted to a value between 0.5x and 2x, with 1 being normal speed.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Unique Configuration Added in V3.0 Series Models</summary>

**In the V3.0 series model, we have added some unique parameters. Paragraphs assigned with V3.0 model characters can additionally control the following settings:**

* **Language:** Specify the language of the content in the paragraph. By default, the system can automatically recognize the language of the input content. If the recognition is not accurate enough or the language you input is Cantonese, please manually select the language. (Currently cannot automatically recognize Cantonese content)
* **Vivid Expression:** Support enabling the "Vivid Expression" option for individual paragraphs. When enabled, the model will expand the expressive range based on the understanding of the content, making the sentences more expressive and infectious (best effect for Japanese ASMR), but may reduce generation stability.
* **Emotion Control:** This function parameter allows you to adjust the emotional tendency of paragraph pronunciation. After enabling this function, you can manually specify emotion ratios, including angry, happy, neutral, sad, and matching context. The model will try to pronounce with corresponding emotional expressions according to the set ratio. The specific effect may vary greatly for different samples and may reduce generation stability.
* **Consistency Optimization**: **Experimental feature**, when enabled, it will optimize the generation effect of long content gathered in a single paragraph, improve consistency and coherence, but may reduce expressiveness. For text content editing, you can refer to [Text Content Editing](https://docs.vocu.ai/zh/~/revisions/UXeoxR8p2d7pY0hBgCpM/generate/text-edit) for more information.
* **Post-processing Mode: Experimental feature,** this item controls the output optimization strategy. By default, it will optimize for the restoration of character voice. In addition, different options can adjust the auditory performance of the final audio. You can try to adjust this setting according to your needs.

</details>

Under the latest configuration template, you only need to input content and assign characters, then click the **Start Generation** button at the bottom to submit the speech generation task, and you can observe the generation progress in real-time, as well as quickly preview the effects of paragraphs and overall.

#### Task Queue <a href="#task-queue" id="task-queue"></a>

[View Detailed Introduction](/generate/queue)

You can view and manage your ongoing generation tasks here, as well as the status of all historical tasks. Task status will be updated in real-time without manual refresh. After you start a new generation task, you can see the task status of each paragraph in the editor. After opening the task queue (clock icon), your latest task will appear at the top of the list.

You can click to view [details of each task](/generate/task-detail) in the list, play the final generation result of each task (if any), or quickly perform audio downloads, copy to editor, delete task history and other operations in the dropdown menu of each task.

Each paragraph's task record can be viewed independently, making it convenient for you to adjust individual paragraphs.

{% hint style="info" %}
You can see the generation status of each paragraph in the project editor, and play or download audio of a paragraph individually. We also support regenerating individual paragraphs without affecting the status of other paragraphs.
{% endhint %}

## VOCU Voice Large Model V3.0-Alpha <a href="#v2.9" id="v2.9"></a>

*Released on August 26, 2025, V2 series characters can be manually upgraded to V3 model*

Vocu Voice Large Model V3.0-Alpha is our new cross-version release. As an early public beta version of a new phase, it brings multiple functional updates and capability enhancements, further expanding the expressiveness of voice content generation. Specific updates are as follows:\\

* In V3 version, **multilingual samples and cross-language generation capabilities** are available. In addition to the early-achieved Chinese-English cross-language capability, we have added support for Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, as well as more than 30 accent variants of these languages. The model can now directly process input and output of these languages.

*(It should be noted that cross-language generation may be affected by sample pronunciation. When using this function, it is recommended to use clear and corresponding language speech to get the best results.)*

* **Expressiveness and Naturalness Enhancement**, significantly enhanced in multiple dimensions including emotional tension, similarity, stability, naturalness, and semantic understanding ability. New support for various complex forms of expression, including roaring, rap, coquettish, ASMR, etc., can also be generated in extreme emotions and delicate expressions.
* Added **Vivid Expression** optimization, supporting individual paragraphs to enable the "Vivid Expression" option separately. When enabled, the model will automatically adjust speech details based on the understanding of content, making sentences more expressive and infectious. (May cause unstable results for some samples)
* Added **Emotion Ratio Control** optimization, supporting setting emotional expression ratios for individual paragraphs, allowing sentences to present clearer emotional tendencies during generation, such as anger, happiness, sadness, etc. By flexibly controlling emotional weights, model output will have richer emotional layers.
* **Background Acoustic Feature Replication Optimization**, sample replication capability greatly improved. It is not limited to vocal features, but can also intelligently restore **background acoustic features**, including spatial sense, reverberation, volume, etc., making the generated content closer to the original voice texture of the character.

## VOCU Voice Large Model V2.9 <a href="#v2.9" id="v2.9"></a>

*Released on March 1, 2025, **currently the latest version of the V2 series model**, previous V2.X characters have been automatically upgraded to this compatible version*

The latest version of Vocu Voice Large Model, this version introduces a large number of functions and improvements from the V3 version model under development. In Chinese voice content generation performance, it has reached **global SOTA level**, compared to previous versions, the update content is as follows:

* Greatly improved the generated audio quality **under non-Flash models (i.e. high-quality mode)**, and solved the long-standing problem of electric current edging in generation results.
* Greatly improved character similarity and character stability **under non-Flash models (i.e. high-quality mode)**, and can largely restore the acoustic environment of the character's original audio sample (such as spatial sense, reverberation, volume, recording texture, etc.).
* Added the world's first character timbre mixing capability, which can freely specify audio samples of multiple different characters and freely mix them according to proportion to create a brand new character timbre. ***(In internal testing, will be gradually opened)***
* Added the world's first character style mixing capability. When creating a new emotional style, you can specify style samples and character samples separately for fusion to create a new character emotional expression; for example, you can fuse the style of a cross-talk performer with a little girl character to create a new emotional expression for this little girl character when performing cross-talk. ***(In internal testing, will be gradually opened)***
* Added a new **zero-threshold** character intelligent dubbing/cover capability, which can directly let the specified existing character re-dub the completed generation results, or dub or cover any voice or song audio content you provide, and retain many style characteristics of the character during this process, bringing you a freer new audio creation experience. ***(In internal testing, will be gradually opened)***

Currently, the generation point consumption of this version model character is **`1 point/character`**

# Overview

You can learn more about how to create characters and perform voice cloning here, and get various usage tips

You can perform [instant voice cloning](/voices/create) by creating a character and uploading or recording a short audio sample for it. You can also perform [professional voice cloning](/voices/pro-clone) by providing 1-60 minutes of audio samples, completing it within 3-60 minutes.

After that, you can assign these characters to different texts in speech synthesis to let AI use these character voices for reading.

Currently, you can summon the character creation panel by clicking the **"Add Character"** button on the [Voice Management](https://app.vocu.ai/voices) page, or by selecting the **"Create New Character..."** button in the popup when selecting a character on the [Vocu Studio](https://app.vocu.ai/generate) page, and use it to create a character.

### Instant Cloning

[Instant cloning](/voices/create) allows you to clone a voice almost instantly from a very short sample. It should be noted that the basic principle of instant cloning is not to create or train a new model based on the provided voice sample, but to let AI reasonably guess and imitate based on the massive data it has learned. Our model has been trained on a large amount of regular speech, so it should be very effective for most natural speech processing in theory.

However, our model still has some imperfections. If the voice sample you provide is relatively unique and our AI has not learned similar voices before, it may lead to poor generation results or inability to replicate the voice well. Currently, for specific introductions, shortcomings and limitations of our various models, please refer to [Model Introduction](/introduction/models)

{% hint style="info" %}
{% endhint %}

### Professional Cloning

Through [professional voice cloning](/voices/pro-clone), you only need to provide one minute or longer (up to 60 minutes) voice samples, and our AI will deeply train and learn every detail of the voice samples you provide, including every tone, pronunciation method, rhythm, prosody, etc., within 3-60 minutes, achieving top-level cloning and synthesis effects indistinguishable from the original voice, while retaining all cutting-edge features of the Vocu voice large model such as language understanding, emotional expressiveness, etc.

{% hint style="warning" %}

{% endhint %}

# Instant Cloning

Learn here how to add a character and assign it a voice sample for instant cloning

Through instant voice cloning, you only need to provide a 5-30 second sample, and without any model training, cloning can be completed instantly. Our AI will instantly, based on millions of hours of experience, try to mimic the **tone, speed, emotion, pauses, loudness, acoustic environment, breathing sounds, accent, and vocalization** characteristics of the cloned audio sample during generation, understand the context of the target text as much as possible, and synthesize them to produce the most expressive and matching speech.

The first step is to select the type of creation. Different types of characters have slightly different performance details. The availability of model versions and types will be opened according to our current maintenance plan.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FM8UPAuwHPT5agq7jTaWj%2FQQ_1762489277968.png?alt=media&amp;token=13de30d2-ddc7-477b-9bfc-ee9e87c1b2ed" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FJBSGpKfEWbS9oRTtTFSp%2FQQ_1762489358064.png?alt=media&amp;token=b0f2d23e-6fcd-4304-bc01-5db6f5a45226" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Then, you need to upload an audio file or record a piece of audio as the default style guide sample for this cloning. This default style sample **will be used to define the default voice performance of the character, including voice line, emotion, speed, tone, prosody, etc. (later you can add more different style samples in the character details page).**

# Important Notes

Some precautions and best practices about voice cloning

## Instant Cloning/Style Guide Sample Precautions

As stated in [Overview](/voices/overview), if the voice sample you provide is relatively unique and our AI has not learned similar voices before, it may lead to poor generation results or inability to replicate the voice well.

{% hint style="info" %}
{% endhint %}

We recommend that you usually use 10-20 seconds of clear speech audio, and it should not contain any reverberation, echo, background noise for best results. For the quality of audio files, we recommend that you use audio with a source bitrate of 128kbps or above to ensure carrying as complete information as possible.

## Professional Cloning Precautions

Before starting your professional cloning, you need to prepare **single or multiple** audio sample files for cloning.

Audio sample files need to meet the following requirements:

* The total duration of all audio sample files added together should be **at least 1 minute**, **at most 60 minutes; within this range, the longer the total duration, the better the cloning effect.**
* Each audio file needs to be in **wav/mp3/mp4 (recommended to convert to audio)/flac/m4a/ogg** format.
* Please ensure to provide **high-quality** audio as much as possible, and **ensure that the audio contains recognizable sentences (for supported languages, please refer to** [**Model Introduction**](/introduction/models)**)**.At the same time, you need to avoid serious noise, multiple speakers and other interference in the audio.

After the audio sample files are prepared, you can manually select audio files or drag them to the upload box, or package them into **unencrypted Zip format compressed packages**. The system will automatically organize the sample files. The total size of uploaded files **cannot exceed 256MB.**

## Comprehensive Precautions

Our AI voice model will try to imitate everything it hears in the audio, such as the speaker's tone, speed, accent, breathing method, strength, background noise, vocal noise, hesitation pauses, and everything else. This means that if the sample audio contains relevant information, it may be imitated by AI and expressed in the final synthesis.

In other words, if you speak in a slow, flat voice, the final result will usually be the same; or if you speak in an excited, fast manner, AI will also try to imitate it.

**Very importantly**, we recommend that you ensure the consistency of voice performance in all aspects as much as possible throughout the voice sample. If the performance in the first 2 seconds of the sample is excited and fast, then the following seconds also need to maintain similar performance as much as possible, including tone, speed, volume and other aspects. If your performance fluctuates too much within the same voice sample, it may confuse AI and produce more unpredictable results each time it generates.

In general:

* The voice performance itself, accent, and recording quality will greatly affect the final effect of cloning
* **For instant cloning**, the length of the audio is not that important, but we recommend ensuring at least five seconds to contain enough information
* Keep the voice performance and recording quality consistent throughout the audio sample as much as possible, and avoid excessive changes within the same segment
* The volume of the audio may also be replicated by AI, so we recommend that you adjust to a reasonable volume balance range to avoid too loud or too soft sound

{% hint style="warning" %}

{% endhint %}

# Overview

You can find more information about using the speech synthesis function here, including some tips that can bring better results.

After you have added or created some new characters, you can start using them to generate some speech! To perform **Text-to-Speech (TTS)**, please go to the [Vocu Studio](https://app.vocu.ai/generate) page, add or edit the text you need there, assign characters (speakers) to paragraphs, then click the **Start Generation** button in the **Generation Configuration** tab and you're done!

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FsguZkuAlLNt6V6VnKTcY%2FQQ_1762491100035.png?alt=media&amp;token=c48cb25b-37e2-4789-982e-933aec4b1689" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

It's simple, isn't it? However, there are a few things you may need to pay attention to:

* Due to the characteristics of AI models, the results generated each time are slightly different. You can try several times to get ideal or more creative effects.
* **Generation parameters** have a great impact on the final generation effect. Currently, based on various tests and optimizations, we have set different preset templates, each corresponding to different optimization directions. You can choose different generation parameters by adjusting presets to find the most suitable effect for you.
* Different versions of models may have some shortcomings and limitations. We recommend that you refer to [**Model List**](/introduction/models) to learn about the introduction of each model.

# Project Management

Learn about the project management function for convenient voice production

The project management function is designed to facilitate your flexible storage and switching between multiple different content projects during use without having to clear the editor. You can create projects as needed. The editor content within a single project is independent and will not affect the content of other projects.

The number on the left side of the paragraph can be used for sorting and multi-selection. Click to select one or more paragraphs. You can uniformly process the selected paragraphs in the toolbar below, such as generating selected paragraphs, replacing characters, batch downloading selected paragraph audio, etc. At the same time, long press and drag the mark to sort paragraphs.

{% hint style="warning" %}
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}

# Generation Configuration

Learn here which options you can adjust to affect generation results

After completing content editing, you can click the gear icon in the function area to adjust generation configuration.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2F6cmx8hoxYssVkjHaVaU6%2FQQ_1762498743718.png?alt=media&amp;token=02ce9b6e-da7e-4df3-b238-64cdf5601985" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

(Mobile version also uses gear icon)

**Generation parameters** have a great impact on the final generation effect. Currently, based on various tests and optimizations, we have set different preset templates, each corresponding to different optimization directions. You can choose different generation parameters by adjusting presets to find the most suitable effect for you.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FgvOh3sJowv5Cy3USgPvh%2FQQ_1762498916562.png?alt=media&amp;token=d59c1bc1-3cb4-444e-891c-64ab83e24cce" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://github.com/VocuAI/Reecho-Docs/blob/main/en/.gitbook/assets/image%20(8).png" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
The generation preset parameters we prepared can handle text and timbre content in most cases. You can first try using the default parameters for generation. If the effect still does not meet expectations after switching presets multiple times, you can try testing with official characters to see if it is caused by poor samples of the voice character. You can also contact our support service for help.
{% endhint %}

<details>

<summary>Manually Adjustable Generation Settings</summary>

<details>

</details>

After the parameter settings are completed, close the configuration popup. Just click the **Start Generation** button in the function area to submit the speech generation task. After the task is submitted, the system will start the generation task. You can watch the generation progress on the main interface and start playback after completion.

# Task Queue

Learn here how you can manage all current or historical tasks

By clicking the clock icon in the toolbar below, you can open the generation history popup.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FQeBjvp5pxgGNNY84QW8a%2FQQ_1762500566659.png?alt=media&amp;token=eb0ecb7a-ab7a-44ba-a684-c9a83a9fb591" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can view and manage your ongoing generation tasks here, as well as the status of all historical tasks. Task status will be updated in real-time without manual refresh. Generation history will display all tasks that have been performed, and your latest task will appear at the top of the list.

You can click to view [details of each task](/generate/task-detail) in the list, play the final generation result of each task (if any), or quickly perform audio download, copy to editor, regenerate all content, delete task history and other operations in the dropdown menu of each task.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FvIcN1LTr6IQyd5fwSLvv%2FQQ_1762503830807.png?alt=media&amp;token=243cb9ac-e3c2-46ca-ad68-feeb03ffbf0d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Now, in a single paragraph, there is also a generation history that can be viewed independently. Click the clock icon in the paragraph to open the popup, compare different audio generated each time, find the best performing historical generation result, and restore it to the corresponding paragraph in the editor.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FN4577XQd7NXjWZog76Ae%2FQQ_1762503861801.png?alt=media&amp;token=72dec45e-81fa-49d9-8fa4-8b82de51bc26" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
When the project has started generating, you cannot submit generation repeatedly. You need to wait for generation to complete or fail before trying again. Submitting regeneration, the system will charge you according to the number of characters in the task content, and additionally count it in the **Usage** column of task details. (Only charge for the part that created a generation task)
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
You cannot delete a task that is in progress. Please wait for it to finish before deleting it.
{% endhint %}

# Task Details

By clicking on the title of any item in the task queue, or through its dropdown menu, you can go to the details page of that task.

On this page, you can view various information about the task, preview or download the complete audio of the task, and also perform management operations such as deleting tasks. This page will automatically update according to task status, so you don't need to manually refresh this page to update content.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FfnXHh2L4Hw80acn0okzE%2FQQ_1762505150153.png?alt=media&amp;token=c8d66b59-e0da-4c1b-8dc5-a93e7c34a690" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://github.com/VocuAI/Reecho-Docs/blob/main/en/.gitbook/assets/QQ_1755955095465.png" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Segment View <a href="#sentences" id="sentences"></a>

In addition to viewing information about the entire task, you can see the segmentation of the content here and can batch download multiple paragraphs or download the content of a single paragraph individually.

<figure><img src="https://328376017-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fc1WJl4AuVTjsYvUEo2dB%2Fuploads%2FtbTjueflPfUW94fBMdi0%2FQQ_1762505195360.png?alt=media&amp;token=ef768e21-8efc-471a-83de-9b13db1a3f5e" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also add content as a template. Templates can be used to create tasks with the same text content. When adding, the paragraph records of the text and the records of several characters assigned will be recorded in the template, which can quickly replace the dubbing character and produce new audio with the same text content.

{% hint style="info" %}
When generation has started, you cannot submit generation repeatedly. You need to wait for generation to complete or fail before trying again. Submitting regeneration, the system will charge you according to the number of characters in the selected item content, and additionally count it in the **Usage** column of task details. (Only charge for the part that created a generation task)

# Overview

Here you can view all currently known issues and possible solutions

The sophistication and advancement of artificial intelligence technology is amazing, but its operation often carries an elusive mystery. This is because its results often come from input data and are subject to the interpretation of model algorithms. To reduce this uncertainty, our team is committed to adding new features and continuously optimizing to make AI behavior more predictable and controllable. Nevertheless, when using generative AI, there are still some situations that may occur that need attention.

In this section, we will explore the challenges we have encountered in practice and issues reported by users. It should be understood that although potential problems are listed here, it does not mean that every user will encounter these troubles. In fact, in many cases, users can avoid these problems by taking appropriate preventive measures.

## Poor Speech Generation Quality/Sudden Voice Change/Meaningless Content Generation <a href="#bad-quality" id="bad-quality"></a>

There may be multiple reasons for poor speech generation quality. Please refer to the possibilities in the following list:

* [Character audio samples have quality issues, or AI model has insufficient learning of similar samples](/voices/tips)
* [Generation parameter configuration has issues, or can be further improved](/generate/config)
* [Single sentence text is too long, or punctuation is too frequent](/generate/text-edit)
* [Issues caused by current version model defects or limitations](/introduction/models)

## Character Creation Failed <a href="#create-char-failed" id="create-char-failed"></a>

Currently, our models have different support capabilities for input audio samples. Before uploading, please check the sample language and ensure that your sample speech is **greater than 2 seconds**, and that the speech contains correctly identifiable speech content, and does not contain multiple speakers or complex multilingual content, otherwise it will cause character creation failure or other issues.

If you confirm that the speech itself has no problems, please try refreshing the page or trying again later.

## Speech Generation Failed <a href="#voice-gen-failed" id="voice-gen-failed"></a>

V2 series version models only support Chinese and English. V3 version models add support for Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, as well as more than 30 accent variants of these languages in total. Please ensure that the input text does not contain any other unsupported languages, and avoid mixing special symbols, content that does not belong to regular text (single punctuation marks, emoji symbols), otherwise it may cause **generation failure** and other issues.

If you confirm that the text itself has no problems, please try refreshing the page and trying again later. If you encounter failures multiple times, you can contact service support for feedback.

You must submit your own legal, true, and valid identity information to complete real identity verification. If you fail to submit real identity information or pass real identity verification, Vocarea will not provide you with services in accordance with the law.

2.3 Your Vocu account and password are set by yourself, and you should take proper security measures to keep your account and password; you should properly keep the verification channel information for sensitive permission operations of your account, such as your security phone, email, etc., to prevent security risks caused by the leakage, invalidation, or error of relevant information.

The Vocu account is limited to your own use. Without Vocarea's consent, you may not provide the account to others for use in any way. You should be responsible for the behavior under the account. All operational behaviors under the account are deemed to be implemented by you and should bear all legal consequences. If there is any unauthorized use behavior under your account, you should immediately notify Vocarea so that Vocarea can provide you with corresponding help.

2.4 To protect the security of your account, Vocarea reminds you that you should establish and improve your own internal management system to standardize the use and management of Vocu accounts. If you authorize your employees or others to manage the account based on your own business management needs, or use Vocarea's account authorization function (if any, such as setting sub-accounts, creating and joining group account management) to authorize or accept others to perform certain operations on your account, you must do a good job of authority control, and timely perform handover and take necessary account security protection measures (such as changing passwords, changing login methods, setting account protection, deleting relevant authorizations, etc.) when personnel changes occur.

2.5 If your account information on Vocu is inaccurate, or if your account information changes, you have the obligation to update it in a timely manner. 2.6 You have the right to apply for cancellation of your Vocu account. In circumstances that do not violate the requirements of laws and regulations and comply with Vocarea's account cancellation rules, Vocarea should cancel your Vocu account according to your request. Account cancellation is irreversible. Once you complete account cancellation, you will not be able to log in to the account again. Please operate carefully.

2.7 You understand that to protect the network ecology and network security and maintain a good network transaction order, both you and Vocarea have the obligation to comply with national laws and regulations and policy norms. For this purpose, Vocarea has the right to formulate corresponding account agreements, network platform rules, service specifications, and other corresponding Vocarea rules, and take corresponding restriction and disposal measures on accounts that violate laws and regulations, policy norms, and Vocarea rules.

## Article 3 Services

3.1 Service activation

3.1.1 You can select and purchase the required services independently through the Vocu official website online according to your own needs; you can also entrust your dedicated customer manager or customer service representative to assist you in selecting and purchasing the required services. If your order is accepted by the system and shows that the order has been successfully placed, it means that the service purchase is successful. Vocarea should provide you with services according to your order requirements and service rules, unless otherwise agreed between you and Vocarea.

3.1.2 You need to complete payment in a timely manner after submitting your order. Beyond the period displayed on the order page, the system will automatically close the order; relevant services may also be unable to be successfully purchased due to time limits, inventory limits, or activity quantity limits, resulting in insufficient quantity or reaching the limit during your order submission for payment.

3.1.3 Vocarea has the right to carry out marketing and promotion activities. During marketing and promotion, Vocarea may adopt preferential measures such as price discounts, service upgrades, and gifts, such as "limited time free", "limited time discount", "limited quantity discount", "recharge discount", "gift service", etc. You understand that these preferential measures are temporary, phased, or have total quantity limits, purchase quantity limits, or may only apply to users who meet specific conditions, or have other condition restrictions. Vocarea does not guarantee that all users can participate in activities and obtain preferential rights.

Vocarea has the right to formulate activity rules. Users participating in promotional activities should read and understand the activity rules and obtain and use Vocu services according to the corresponding rules. You understand that the preferential rights you obtain, including the price discount preferences and service preferences you enjoy outside of marketing and promotion activities provided by Vocarea, cannot be applied simultaneously, nor can they be transferred, nor can you require Vocarea to repurchase them, unless otherwise expressly permitted by activity rules and related agreements.

3.1.4 Vocarea may give specific services or some items in services (collectively referred to as "gift services") to eligible customers for various reasons such as customer feedback and marketing promotion. You understand and agree that gift services are additional benefits provided by Vocu for customers. The service content of gift services (including but not limited to service standards, etc.) may be different from services purchased at regular prices. You need to pay attention and confirm acceptance, otherwise, please do not use gift services. Gift service items or preferential activities cannot be converted into cash or offset against regular service prices.

3.1.5 Vocarea may launch free trial services such as public beta and internal beta from time to time. You can obtain and use them through voluntary application and other methods, and comply with this Agreement and related agreements of free services. You understand that such free services are usually not long-term or permanent. Vocarea will not make commitments to the availability and reliability of such services, nor will it be responsible for any results of your use of such services. Vocarea reserves the possibility of making availability and reliability commitments to such free services and charging fees. Before charging service fees, Vocarea will notify you separately.

3.2 Service fees

3.2.1 You can obtain Vocu services by prepayment or postpayment, subject to the payment method supported by the service you purchased.

Prepayment, also known as "prepayment", you need to submit an order and complete payment before Vocarea provides corresponding services; postpayment, you first use the service and then pay the fee. You need to pay the fee within the payment period determined according to the service rules of the service.

3.2.2 Based on your business credit, you may obtain a "credit limit" granted to you by Vocarea, so that you can enjoy the convenience of "postpayment" for some services that require prepayment within the limit. You understand that the credit limit you can obtain from Vocarea depends on Vocarea's assessment of your business credit, and Vocarea has the right to adjust it.

3.2.3 Whether it is a prepaid service or a postpaid service, if you and Vocarea have other agreements on fee payment, both parties should give priority to the other agreements. Your ordering Vocu services within the credit limit does not affect the execution of relevant agreements between you and Vocarea regarding service fee account periods and settlement.

3.2.4 You can query purchased services, fee payment, and arrears through your Vocu account. To avoid your arrears affecting service continuity, Vocarea recommends that you view your bills and arrears notices in a timely manner and pay fees in a timely manner. Vocarea provides you with multiple payment channels such as online payment and bank transfer according to circumstances. You can choose an appropriate method for payment and pay attention to reserving reasonable time to ensure payment is received. If you have arrears, Vocarea has the right to charge you liquidated damages at a standard of 0.05% of your arrears amount per day.

3.2.5 For your convenience of operation, if system functions support it, you can set "automatic renewal" for some services. Automatic renewal means that when the Vocu service you purchase that is billed by duration expires, if the available balance in your Vocu account is sufficient, the system will automatically deduct the fee for the next renewal period from your account. Unless otherwise explicitly agreed, the price of automatic renewal is the price at the time when the system executes the deduction.

3.2.6 In view of the diversity of Vocu service billing methods, please pay attention to the billing instructions when purchasing services and purchase according to your needs. For certain types and certain billing methods of services, once you purchase them, even if you do not actually use them, you need to pay fees, including but not limited to the following situations:

(1) Package services. Such services include one or several service rights, and may have usage period requirements. Rights will be cleared after the usage period expires.

(2) Services billed by duration. After purchasing services that include billing by duration, you will obtain services within the period, and fees should be paid within the period.

(3) Based on rules or agreements. For example, service rules have declared in advance that they are non-refundable, or you have promised a minimum consumption amount to Vocarea.

If some continuously billed services are no longer what you actually need, Vocarea recommends that you inspect and close the corresponding services yourself.

3.2.7 You can view your fee consumption status by logging into your Vocu account. You can request your fee consumption bill from Vocarea every month. The bill serves as a credential for fee settlement between both parties. If you have objections to the bill, you should raise them to Vocarea within 5 working days after receiving the bill; if you do not raise objections within the aforementioned period, you will be deemed to have confirmed the bill. For bills you have objections to, both you and Vocarea will conduct checks, and the bill confirmed by both parties after the check shall prevail. During the check period, you should first pay the undisputed portion of the amount. If you do not agree with the check result but do not have conclusive evidence to prove that the bill is incorrectly charged, the settlement fee shall be based on the bill provided by Vocarea.

3.2.8 You should pay fees to Vocarea in a timely and full manner. When you have arrears, Vocarea may send you reasonable prompts or reminders. If you fail to pay service fees in full as agreed, in addition to requiring you to bear corresponding liability for breach of contract, Vocarea also has the right to directly take measures to suspend the provision of corresponding services or terminate the provision of corresponding services at any time. When Vocarea terminates your service for this reason, it will send you necessary notifications.

You can also cancel all Vocu accounts you have registered to terminate the service relationship between Vocarea and you. You should pay attention to inspect and evaluate the impact of terminating relevant Vocu services on your systems and operating business to avoid causing harm.

3.4.6 When services expire or terminate, after you have settled all service fees and borne corresponding breach of contract and compensation responsibilities (if any), you can apply for a refund of prepaid but not yet consumed funds in your Vocu account. If both parties have other agreements on fee clearance, they will be handled according to the agreement.

You also may not crack, perform reverse engineering, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover source code or circumvent any technical restrictions of software, systems, etc., provided by Vocarea.

7.3 You should ensure that any content you provide, publish, upload, and process during your use of Vocarea's various services and the behavior itself (including but not limited to software, technology, programs, web pages, text, images, images, audio, video, electronic documents, other data, etc.) are either original to you or have obtained legal authorization (and including sub-authorization). 7.8 Either party should respect the other party's and third parties' intellectual property rights. If any third party files a lawsuit or claims against the other party on the grounds that one party has infringed on its intellectual property rights or other legitimate rights and interests, the responsible party should independently handle related disputes, compensate the other party's direct economic losses, and exempt the other party from liability.

7.9 If a third party claims against you alleging that your behavior of obtaining and using Vocu services according to this Agreement infringes on the intellectual property rights of right holders, or Vocarea believes that such claims may be raised, Vocarea will decide on its own: (a) Obtain the right for you to continue using applicable Vocu services; (b) Modify Vocu services, or replace original services with non-infringing software or services that will not seriously damage service functions; or (c) If neither of the above options is commercially reasonable, terminate the applicable order and refund you the fees you prepaid to Vocarea for the services involved in the claim (or possible claim) in proportion.

4.2.1 If you find that others have stolen your account or password, or any unauthorized use of the account occurs, you can protect and recover your account through the self-service methods provided by Vocarea; you can also notify Vocarea through valid channels to assist in processing. You understand that to protect the security of users' accounts, Vocarea needs to verify your identity first, and you need to provide necessary materials (such as user information, situation descriptions, supporting materials, and appeal applications, etc.). At the same time, Vocarea has the right to require you to undergo identity verification through facial recognition, providing photos of real-name documents (including photos holding documents), business licenses, etc., depending on the situation.

4.2.2 After verifying your identity, Vocarea will handle it according to laws and regulations and Vocarea rules. If the materials you provide are defective or you fail to provide materials in a timely manner, resulting in Vocarea's inability to verify your identity, inability to judge your needs, or other situations where timely processing cannot be carried out, the consequences and responsibilities arising therefrom shall be borne by you.

4.2.3 You understand that Vocarea needs a reasonable period to process your request. For losses you have incurred before Vocarea takes measures and losses caused after taking measures for reasons not attributable to Vocarea, Vocarea does not bear any responsibility.

4.2.4 You understand that Vocarea will not intervene in your internal disputes or disputes between you and others. If the dispute over account usage rights cannot be resolved in a short time, to avoid the expansion of losses, Vocarea may take temporary protective measures on the account based on the application of interested parties.

5.3 If you have registered multiple accounts, Vocarea has the right to uniformly handle multiple accounts you have registered and take account restriction measures when you have the situations stipulated in Article 5.2.

5.4 If you proactively apply for account restriction measures on your account based on account security management needs, Vocarea may evaluate whether to take corresponding measures according to your request, and the corresponding consequences are also borne by you.

5.5 If your account has not been logged in and used for a long time, Vocarea has the right to take corresponding account restriction measures on the account based on the unused status of the account.

5.6 Based on the need for proactive management of Vocu account security, for accounts that may have security risks (including but not limited to accounts suspected of telecommunications network fraud risks, situations where your real identity is suspected to be inconsistent with the identity information reserved with Vocarea), Vocarea has the right to require you to undergo identity verification by improving information, supplementing materials, and further adopting real-name authentication methods such as facial recognition. If you fail to supplement information and materials as required or cooperate in identity verification, or if identity verification fails, Vocarea has the right to take account restriction measures on you and refuse to provide you with products and services.

5.7 After Vocarea takes account restriction measures, it does not mean that all your behaviors and related responsibilities before the account was subjected to measures are exempted or reduced, and you still need to bear responsibility for all behaviors and matters under your account; Vocarea does not bear responsibility if your account is subjected to the above account restriction measures causing you or third parties losses.

2.2 Account deletion is an irreversible operation. From the time you officially submit the application, Vocarea will verify the relevant situation of your account. If the check passes, the account will be deleted.

2.3 If you need to delete your Vocu service account, your account needs to simultaneously meet the following conditions:

(1) There are no unfinished orders or services in the account;

(2) The account has no unfinished complaints or reports, nor has it been complained or reported;

(3) There are no unused rights in the account (if you initiate the corresponding account deletion process when there are still unused rights under the account you are preparing to delete, it will be deemed that you voluntarily give up the corresponding rights, and the corresponding unused rights will be voided or no longer usable after you initiate the deletion process);

(4) You do not have any arrears or unpaid amounts;

(5) The binding relationship or external authorization between your account and other third-party network applications (such as: websites, APPs) or other accounts has been lifted, or you can be sure that not lifting such binding relationships or not withdrawing such external authorizations will not cause any adverse effects on you or any third party;

(6) All users under your account (including collaborators, sub-users, message recipients) and API keys, etc., have been deleted;

(7) All data, information, etc., that you have rights to under your Vocu account have been migrated out and properly backed up, or you completely give up the right to retain or retrieve such data;

(8) You submit an account deletion application not to evade complaints, disputes, lawsuits that are occurring or about to occur, or to evade the supervision of competent departments, or to circumvent relevant provisions of laws and regulations and other malicious intentions;

(9) The account does not have other situations where obligations should be fulfilled but have not yet been fulfilled in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations;

(10) Other matters that may affect your rights and interests have been properly handled.

If Vocarea finds during the checking process that your account cannot simultaneously meet the above conditions, your account deletion application will be rejected. If you wish to continue deletion, you need to handle related matters according to the rejection reasons and then re-initiate the account deletion application.

2.4 During the account deletion period, if Vocarea finds that your Vocu account involves disputes or disputes, including but not limited to the possibility of involving complaints, lawsuits, arbitration, or government supervision and other matters, or the corresponding matters have already occurred, Vocarea has the right to unilaterally terminate your account deletion application without obtaining your consent again.

## III. Consequences of Account Deletion

3.1 You know and agree that after the account completes the deletion process, the following consequences will occur, including but not limited to:

3.1.1 The Vocu account you previously owned will be recovered by Vocarea, and you have no right to use the original Vocu account again. You will not be able to log in to the Vocu website with that account, authorize Vocarea to access third-party network services, or use any Vocu services, etc.;
