# Character Management

You can manage all the characters you currently have on the [Voice Management](https://app.vocu.ai/voices) page. Currently, you can see a list containing all your characters on this page, which includes information such as **name and description** of each character. You can click the **"Create New Character"** button on the page to create a new character.

Characters are divided into [instant cloning](https://docs.vocu.ai/voices/create) and [professional cloning](https://docs.vocu.ai/voices/pro-clone) characters. For professional cloning characters, you will see an exclusive certification badge to the right of the character name.

## View Character Information

You can click the **"View Details"** button on the right side of each character card in the list to enter the character details page, where you can view more information about each character, including character ID, avatar, name, description, various times, etc.

## Manage Character Styles

In the character details page, you will see a **"Voice Styles"** section. In it, you can add or delete various style guide samples for your character, and also preview each sample.

### Add Character Style

Similar to creating a character, you only need to click the **"+"** button in the upper right corner of the voice styles section to add voice styles for the character in the voice style creation panel that pops up.

You need to specify a name for the created character style, and optionally specify a description. Currently, the name and description are for display only and will not affect the voice cloning effect.

Then, you need to upload an audio file or record a piece of audio as the guide sample for this style. This sample **will be used to define the voice performance of this character style, including voice line, emotion, speed, tone, prosody, etc.**

After the audio is uploaded, click the **Add** button in the lower right corner and wait for processing to complete.

Sample quality is more important than length. Noisy samples may produce poor results. Please provide high-quality sample speech as much as possible. Currently, sample speech length needs to be **greater than 2 seconds** and **file size not exceeding 10M**. You can use **JianYing PC version's** **vocal separation/audio noise reduction/vocal beautification/loudness normalization** and other functions to easily obtain high-quality vocal audio samples from any audio.

V2 series models **(V2.9) only support Chinese and English**. When using V2 series models, please ensure that the input text does not contain any non-Chinese and English characters, such as Japanese and Korean, otherwise it may cause **generation failure** and other issues.

Starting from V3 series, we have added Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese in addition to Chinese and English, as well as more than 30 accent variants of these languages in total. Please ensure that the model version and text content you use are in line with the corresponding support capabilities.

## Go Directly to Text Content Editing

Character cards appearing in various locations all support one-click addition to the dubbing studio for generation. You can click the "**Use This Character**" button on the character card to add the character to the top blank paragraph of the dubbing text editor. ## More Character Operations

In the upper right menu of the character details page, you can perform more operations on the character. Currently, the following functions are included:

* **Share to Market:** Share and publish this character to the Vocu voice market with one click, so that more people can use your character.
* **Generate One-time Share Link:** You can generate a one-time share link with a validity period of 24 hours for this character. Others can obtain this character by opening the link while logged in to Vocu.
* **Delete Character:** Delete your character, **this operation is irreversible.**
