Learn how you can manage the characters you have created

You can manage all the characters you currently own on the Character Management page. Currently, you can see a list containing all your characters on this page, and the list contains information such as name and description of each character. You can click the "Add Character" button on the page to create a new character.

Characters are divided into Instant Cloning and Professional Cloning characters. For professional cloning characters, you will see an exclusive certification logo on the right side of the character name.

View Character Information

You can click the "More" button on the right side of each character card in the list to enter the character details page, where you can view more information about each character, including character ID, avatar, name, description, various times, etc.

Manage Character Styles

In the character details page, you will see a "Voice Styles" section; in it, you can add or delete various style guide samples for your character, and you can also preview each sample.

Add Character Style

Similar to when creating a character, you only need to click the "+" button in the upper right corner of the voice styles section to add voice styles for the character in the voice style creation panel that pops up.

You need to specify a name for the character style you create, and optionally specify a description. Currently, names and descriptions are for display only and do not affect voice cloning behavior.

Subsequently, you need to upload an audio file or record an audio as the guide sample for this style; this sample will be used to define the voice performance of this character style, including voice line, emotion, speed, tone, prosody, etc.

After the audio upload is completed, click the Add button in the bottom right corner and wait for processing to complete.

Sample quality is more important than length. Noisy samples may produce poor results, so please provide high-quality sample audio whenever possible. Currently, sample audio length needs to be greater than 2 seconds and file size not exceeding 10M. You can use the voice separation/audio noise reduction/voice beautification/loudness standardization functions of CapCut PC version to easily obtain high-quality human voice audio samples from any audio.

Currently, we only support Chinese and English sample audio. Please ensure that the sample audio you provide contains correctly recognizable Chinese or English content and does not contain content in other languages, otherwise it will cause character creation to fail or lead to other various problems.

More Character Operations

At the bottom of the character details page, you can perform more operations on the character, currently including the following functions:

• Share to Market: Share the character to Vocu Voice Market with one click, so that more people can use your character.

• Generate One-time Sharing Link: You can generate a one-time sharing link valid for 24 hours for the character. Others can obtain this character by opening the link while logged into Vocu.

• Delete Character: Delete your character, this operation cannot be undone.
