Thank you for choosing and using the Vocu service provided by HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as "Vocarea" or "we") (also known as VocuAI, Vocu.ai, Vocu AI, etc., hereinafter collectively referred to as "Vocu" or "this service"). The Vocu service is operated by HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, whose registered address is RM03, 24/F, HO KING COMM CTR, 2-16 FAYUEN ST, MONG KOK, HONG KONG.
Vocarea attaches great importance to the protection of user information, and we will strictly protect your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations. We hope to explain to you through this "Vocu Privacy Protection Statement" (hereinafter referred to as "this Statement") how we process your personal information when you use the services provided by Vocarea (processing includes "collection, storage, use, processing, transmission, provision, disclosure, etc."), as well as the related rights you enjoy.
In this Statement, whether "Vocarea" or "Vocu" (and related similar names), may be used to refer to HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED and Vocu-related services provided by HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, depending on the context.
Before using the products and/or services we provide, you should carefully read and understand this Statement and make appropriate choices. If you have any questions, opinions, or suggestions about the content of this Statement, you can contact us at any time through the methods provided in Article 10 of this Statement. If you agree to this Statement by checking online, we will process your personal information in accordance with the content of this Statement; if you do not agree to the content of this Statement, you will not be able to use the products and/or services we provide normally.
I. Scope of This Statement
1.1 This Statement applies to the products and services we provide to you. Except as otherwise specified in this Statement, this Statement does not apply to products and services provided to you by other third parties.
1.2 Your use of these services will be subject to the Vocu Service Agreement and Vocu Account Agreement.
1.3 Please note that as a user of Vocarea, if you use Vocu services to provide services to your users, you should separately agree on privacy policies or similar legal texts with your users in accordance with relevant legal requirements. This Statement does not apply to personal information processing activities involved in the process of you providing services to your users using Vocu services.
1.4 The following terms involved in this Statement have the following meanings:
(1) Personal information: refers to various information related to identified or identifiable natural persons recorded electronically or in other ways, excluding information after anonymization processing.
(2) Sensitive personal information: refers to personal information that, once leaked or illegally used, can easily lead to damage to the personal dignity of natural persons or harm to personal and property safety, including biometric identification, religious beliefs, specific identity, medical health, financial accounts, location tracking and other information, as well as personal information of minors under fourteen years of age.
(3) Anonymization: refers to the process by which personal information is processed so that it cannot identify specific natural persons and cannot be restored.
(4) De-identification: refers to the process by which personal information is processed so that it cannot identify specific natural persons without the aid of additional information.
(5) Automated decision-making: refers to activities that automatically analyze and evaluate personal behavioral habits, interests, or economic, health, credit status, etc., and make decisions through computer programs.
II. How We Collect Your Personal Information
2.1 We will follow the principles of legitimacy, legality, necessity, good faith, openness and transparency, and quality assurance to collect your personal information within the purposes, methods, and scope described in this Statement, including personal information you actively provide to us, personal information generated or retained during your use of our products and/or services, and your personal information we obtain from third parties with your authorization or as permitted by laws and regulations. If the information we collect contains any of your sensitive personal information, we will obtain your separate consent or satisfy other legal bases stipulated by laws and regulations according to the requirements of laws and regulations. If you refuse to provide personal information necessary to achieve necessary purposes, you may not be able to use the corresponding functions. We will collect the following personal information based on the following purposes:
2.1.1 Information collected when you register and log in to your Vocu service account
(1) When you register for a Vocu service account, in order to achieve the purpose of registering your Vocu service account, we will collect the following information: (a) If you choose to register through "email registration", we will collect your email address; (b) If you choose to register through "YanYu Passport registration", we will collect the mobile phone number and SMS verification code you enter.
(2) When you log in to your Vocu service account, you can log in through email or YanYu Passport mobile phone number. We will correspondingly collect your mobile phone number and email address for authentication to ensure that you are already a Vocu user and can log in normally.
2.1.2 Information collected when you conduct real-name authentication
According to laws and regulations, you need to complete mobile phone number or facial real-name authentication when using some or all Vocu services. If you cannot complete or refuse to conduct real-name authentication, you may not be able to use some or all Vocu services.
(1) When you conduct personal real-name authentication: (a) If the service you use requires mobile phone number authentication, we need to collect your mobile phone number and SMS verification code. Accounts registered through mobile phone numbers are considered to have completed this type of real-name authentication by default; (b) If the service you use requires facial recognition authentication, we need to collect your name and ID number, and call Alipay facial authentication interface to verify your facial information (we cannot obtain or collect the facial information itself).
(2) When you conduct enterprise real-name authentication, we need to collect your enterprise contact name, enterprise contact ID number, and enterprise contact mobile phone number. At the same time, we may also require enterprise legal person facial recognition authentication. During the authentication process, we need to collect your name and ID number, and call Alipay and other facial authentication interfaces to verify your facial information (we cannot obtain or collect the facial information itself).
2.1.3 Information collected when you perform security settings
To protect the security of your Vocu account, when you use Vocu account security setting services, we need to collect your mobile phone number and email address as security verification methods.
2.1.4 Information collected when you purchase and use Vocu services online
(1) When you purchase and use Vocu services through remittance, we need to collect your order information, remitter name, remitting bank name, remitting bank card number, remittance amount, and remittance date information from the receiving bank to complete the recharge to your designated Vocu account.
(2) When you purchase and use Vocu services through online payment, we need to collect your order information, online recharge channels (including Alipay, WeChat, online banking), recharge channel transaction ID, online recharge amount, and online recharge time information to complete online recharge.
2.1.5 Information collected during bill reconciliation
When we generate and display your consumption bills, we need to collect your Vocu service consumption and corresponding amount information to accurately generate and display your consumption bills.
2.1.6 Information we collect when issuing bills to you
(1) If you choose to issue paper bills, we need to collect your recipient name, recipient address, and recipient contact information to mail paper bills to you.
(2) If you choose to issue electronic bills, we need to collect your email address to send electronic bills to your designated email.
2.1.7 To provide continuous service and ensure service quality, during your use of Vocu services, we will collect and save relevant information about your login and use of services (but will not include operations after entering the service). Relevant information specifically includes:
(1) Operation records: We will receive and record your operation records and related log information when using Vocu services.
(2) Contract information: If you need to apply for online generation of electronic contracts or paper contracts and receive them, we need to collect your contact name, contact address, contact phone number, and email information.
2.1.8 Information collected when you use voice cloning related services
In order to provide you with voice cloning related services, Vocu may collect, transmit, use, process, and store the voices of you and persons who authorize you to use their voice data through [your terminal device] to realize the functions of this service. For this purpose, we may need to:
(1) Obtain microphone permission of the terminal device;
(2) Conduct environmental noise detection;
(3) Collect personal voices, limited to reading designated texts provided by this service and custom texts provided by users.
2.1.9 Information collected when you use after-sales services
When you request our support or services through ticket systems, service hotlines, intelligent customer service, and other methods, we need to collect your name or account information, email, mobile phone number, business information (such as company name, industry, position), as well as your consultation records, call recordings, and content you actively submit to us (such as text, pictures, videos).
2.2 When you use specific services, we may additionally collect other personal information from you. For specific personal information protection rules, please refer to the privacy protection statements disclosed by specific services.
2.3 According to relevant laws and regulations and national standards, in the following circumstances, we may lawfully process your relevant personal information without seeking your authorization and consent:
2.3.1 Necessary for personal information processors to fulfill legal obligations or legal duties;
2.3.2 Necessary for concluding and performing contracts where you are a party;
2.3.3 Necessary for responding to sudden public health events, or for protecting the life, health, and property safety of natural persons in emergency situations;
2.3.4 For implementing news reporting, public opinion supervision, and other activities for public interest, lawfully processing personal information that you have disclosed yourself or that has been legally disclosed within a reasonable scope;
2.3.5 Other circumstances stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
2.4 If we collect your personal information that will exceed the purposes stated in this Statement or exceed the scope that has direct or reasonable connection with the purposes claimed at the time of collection, we will inform you again according to law before collection and obtain your express consent (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations).
2.5 Please understand that the functions and services we provide to you are constantly updated and developed. If a certain function or service is not mentioned in the aforementioned description but does require processing your information, we will separately explain to you the content, scope, and purpose of information processing through updating this Statement, page prompts, interactive processes, offline notifications, and other methods, and obtain your consent (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations).
2.6 Circumstances where other entities collect your information
You acknowledge and understand that when you use services provided by third-party entities through the Vocu platform or jump to third-party platforms, the third-party entity's processing of your information is not bound by this Statement, but is bound by the privacy policy or similar documents of that third-party entity. We recommend that before you use services provided by third-party entities through this platform or jump to third-party platforms, you should carefully read and decide for yourself whether to be bound by the privacy policy of that third-party entity.
III. How We Use Cookies and Related Technologies
3.1 When you use our services, we may save your login status and assign you one or more "Cookies" (a very small text file). For example: when you visit information or services that require you to log in, when you log in, we will encrypt and store your login identity in the Cookie file on your computer. You do not need to do any additional work; all collection, saving, and encryption work is automatically completed by the system.
3.2 Cookie files will be saved on your computer's hard drive or device terminal's flash memory, and can only be read by the servers that set them. You can delete them at any time using browsers or operating system software that come with Cookie clearing functions.
3.3 In order to provide you with more convenient, fast, and smooth services, our specific uses of Cookies include:

3.4 You can refuse or manage Cookies through browser settings. However, please note that if you disable Cookies, your account login function may be affected, and we will not be able to provide you with personalized product purchase recommendation services.
IV. How We Use Your Personal Information
We strictly comply with the provisions of laws and regulations as well as agreements with users, and use the collected information as described in this Statement to provide you with better services.
4.1 Information usage rules
We will use the collected information according to the following rules:
(1) We will provide you with various functions and services based on the information we collect;
(2) We will use the collected information within the purposes covered by this Statement. If we use your personal information beyond the purposes claimed at the time of collection and the scope that has direct or reasonable connection, we will inform you again according to law before using your personal information and obtain your express consent (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations).
4.2 Messages we may send to you
Vocarea may send you various notifications and information related to Vocu services through one or more of the following methods: web announcements, system notifications, internal messages, emails, mobile text messages, dedicated service communication tools, letters, etc., including business notifications, service reminders, billing information, payment/renewal notifications, verification messages, marketing information, service rule updates, violation handling, and other various notifications and information.
V. How We Provide, Entrust Processing, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
5.1 External provision
We strictly keep your personal information confidential. Under specific conditions, we may provide your information to third parties, including our affiliated companies, cooperative financial institutions, state agencies, and our partners. Before providing information to third parties, we will conduct assessments in accordance with laws and regulations, inform you of the recipient's name, contact information, processing purposes, processing methods, and types of personal information, and obtain your separate consent (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations). In addition, we will sign relevant legal documents with third parties and require third parties to comply with laws and regulations when using your personal information, process personal information within the scope of processing purposes, processing methods, and types of personal information that have been informed to you, and require third parties to adopt management measures and technical means to protect your personal information. Specific circumstances are as follows:
(1) When you add a payer to make corporate account remittance recharge on your behalf, we will provide the information about you and the payer that you actively provide to the third-party receiving bank so that the payment can be completed smoothly; you should ensure that the payer information you submit has obtained the payer's authorization and consent.
(2) When you purchase third-party services in the Vocu marketplace, we will provide your account information to the third-party service providers to complete service delivery and billing.
(3) When you use services provided by Vocarea's affiliated companies, we will provide your personal information (including account information, billing information, etc.) to affiliated companies for them to provide you with transaction support, service support, or security support to bring you a better business experience. If we share your sensitive personal information, we will seek your consent again, specifically based on your authorization when using the corresponding service.
(4) When state administrative agencies or judicial authorities require us to provide your personal information in accordance with laws, regulations, and regulatory provisions, we will cooperate and provide according to the requirements of state administrative agencies or judicial authorities.
(5) Your personal information provided to third parties based on other agreements between you and us regarding personal information provision or when your separate consent is obtained in specific scenarios.
5.2 Entrusted processing
To ensure the quality of services we provide, we may entrust partners to process information. During entrusted processing, we will comply with laws and regulations and regulatory requirements to ensure that your rights and interests are not affected.
5.3 Transfer
When we undergo mergers, divisions, dissolution, acquisitions, asset transfers, asset restructuring, or bankruptcy liquidation, if it is necessary to transfer your personal information to third parties, we will require third parties to continue to be bound by this Statement in accordance with laws and regulations and regulatory requirements.
5.4 Public disclosure

VI. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information
6.1 Methods and duration of information storage
(1) We will store your information through secure methods that meet the requirements of national laws and regulations and regulatory authorities.
(2) Generally, we will only store your personal information for the shortest time necessary to achieve service purposes or within the period stipulated by laws and regulations. After exceeding the retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.
6.2 Geographical location of information storage
We will store personal information collected within China's territory in accordance with laws and regulations.
VII. How You Exercise Your Rights
During your use of Vocu services, we will provide you with corresponding operational settings so that you can exercise various rights related to your personal information. You can refer to the following methods for operation. If your needs are not explained in this Statement, you can contact us through Vocu service tickets, customer service, and other methods.
7.1 Access and copy your personal information
(1) After logging into the Vocu official website, click on your account and enter to view your personal information, including: account information, real-name authentication information, operation history, message subscriptions, and other information.
(2) After logging into your Vocu service account and entering the billing center, you can view relevant billing information.
(3) If you need a copy of your personal information, you can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10. After verifying your identity, we will provide you with a copy of your personal information in our services.
7.2 Correct and supplement your personal information
(1) After entering the account page, you can modify your account nickname in the account information, and modify your bound mobile phone number and email information in the login method.
(2) After entering the real-name authentication page, when system functions allow, you can modify your real-name authentication information by clicking to modify the real-name authentication subject; however, your real-name authentication information modification needs to comply with Vocarea's relevant regulations.
(3) If you find that your information is inaccurate or incomplete, you can also contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 for correction and supplementation.
7.3 Delete your personal information
Except for circumstances otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, we will actively delete your personal information in the following circumstances, and you can also contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 to request deletion of personal information:
(1) Our processing purpose for your personal information has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary to achieve the processing purpose;
(2) We stop providing services, or the retention period has expired;
(3) You withdraw the consent you previously gave to us;
(4) We violate laws, administrative regulations, or agreements with you in processing your personal information;
(5) Other circumstances where personal information should be deleted as stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
When the retention period stipulated by laws and administrative regulations has not expired, or when deletion of personal information is technically difficult to achieve, we will stop processing your personal information except for storage and taking necessary security protection measures.
7.4 Account cancellation
You can click on the account cancellation page to inquire about how to cancel your account. After you cancel your account, we will stop providing you with products or services and stop processing your personal information, and delete or anonymize your personal information, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
7.5 Transfer your personal information
You can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 to request that we transfer your personal information to a third party you designate. Under the premise of complying with laws and regulations, we will provide you with transfer channels.
7.6 Change the scope of your consent
You can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 to request changes to the scope of your consent or withdraw consent you have already given. After you withdraw consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information and will not be able to continue providing you with services corresponding to the withdrawn consent, but this will not affect other services we provide to you based on consent you have not withdrawn. In addition, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect personal information processing conducted previously based on your consent.
7.7 Responding to your above requests
If you cannot exercise your rights according to the above methods, or if you need us to explain the personal information processing rules, you can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10. To ensure security, we may need you to provide written requests or prove your identity in other ways. Under normal circumstances, we will handle your request within fifteen days after receiving your feedback or within the time limit stipulated by laws and regulations. We reserve the right to refuse requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require excessive technical means, pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are very impractical.
Despite the above agreements, according to relevant laws and regulations and national standards, we may not be able to respond to your requests in the following circumstances:
(1) Related to our fulfillment of obligations stipulated by laws and regulations;
(2) Related to national security and defense security;
(3) Directly related to public security, public health, and major public interests;
(4) Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
(5) There is sufficient evidence that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights;
(6) For maintaining your or other individuals' life, property, and other major legitimate rights and interests but it is difficult to obtain the person's consent;
(7) Responding to your request will cause serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;
(8) Involving trade secrets.
VIII. How This Statement Is Updated
8.1 We may revise this Statement from time to time as appropriate. When the terms of this Statement change, we will prompt you about the changed privacy protection statement through announcements and other methods during version updates, and explain the effective date to you.
