Thank you for choosing and using the Vocu service provided by HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as "Vocarea" or "we") (which may also be called VocuAI, Vocu.ai, Vocu AI, etc., collectively referred to as "Vocu" or "this service"). The Vocu service is operated by HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, and the company's registered address is RM03, 24/F, HO KING COMM CTR, 2-16 FAYUEN ST, MONG KOK, HONG KONG.
Vocarea attaches great importance to the protection of user information. We will strictly protect your personal information in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations. We hope to explain to you through this "Vocu Privacy Statement" (hereinafter referred to as "this Statement") how we handle your personal information when you use the services provided by Vocarea (processing includes "collection, storage, use, processing, transmission, provision, disclosure, etc."), as well as your related rights.
In this Statement, whether "Vocarea" or "Vocu" (and related similar names) may be used to refer to HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED and the Vocu-related services provided by HONGKONG VOCAREA TECHNOLOGY LIMITED depending on the context.
Before you use the products and/or services we provide, you should carefully read and understand this Statement and make choices you deem appropriate. If you have any questions, opinions, or suggestions about the content of this Statement, you can contact us at any time through the methods provided in Article 10 of this Statement. If you agree to this Statement by checking online, we will process your personal information in accordance with the content of this Statement; if you do not agree to the content of this Statement, you will not be able to normally use the products and/or services we provide.
I. Scope of Application of This Statement
1.1 This Statement applies to the products and services we provide to you. Unless otherwise stipulated in this Statement, this Statement does not apply to products and services provided to you by other third parties.
1.2 Your use of these services will be subject to the Vocu Service Agreement and Vocu Account Agreement.
1.3 Please note that as a user of Vocarea, if you use Vocu services to further provide services to your users, you should separately agree with your users on privacy policies or similar legal texts in accordance with relevant legal requirements. This Statement does not apply to personal information processing activities involved in the process of you using Vocu services to provide services to your users.
1.4 The following terms involved in this Statement have the following meanings respectively:
(1) Personal information: refers to various information recorded electronically or otherwise related to identified or identifiable natural persons, excluding anonymized information.
(2) Sensitive personal information: refers to personal information that, once leaked or illegally used, is likely to cause harm to the dignity of natural persons or endanger personal or property security, including biometric identification, religious beliefs, specific identities, medical health, financial accounts, whereabouts, and other information, as well as personal information of minors under the age of fourteen.
(3) Anonymization: refers to the process by which personal information cannot identify a specific natural person and cannot be restored through processing.
(4) De-identification: refers to the process by which personal information is processed so that it cannot identify a specific natural person without the aid of additional information.
(5) Automated decision-making: refers to activities that automatically analyze and evaluate personal behavior habits, interests and hobbies, or economic, health, and credit status through computer programs and make decisions.
II. How We Collect Your Personal Information
2.1 We will follow the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity, integrity, openness, transparency, and quality assurance to collect your personal information within the purposes, methods, and scope described in this Statement, including personal information you actively provide to us, personal information generated or retained during your use of our products and/or services, and your personal information we obtain from third parties with your authorization or as permitted by laws and regulations. If the information we collect includes any of your sensitive personal information, we will obtain your separate consent or meet other lawful bases stipulated by laws and regulations in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations. If you refuse to provide personal information collected for necessary purposes, you may not be able to use the corresponding functions. We will collect the following personal information based on the following purposes:
2.1.1 Information collected when you register and log in to your Vocu service account
(1) When you register a Vocu service account, in order to realize your purpose of registering a Vocu service account, we will collect the following information: (a) If you choose to register by "email registration", we will collect your email address; (b) If you choose to register by "Wusheng Passport registration", we will collect the phone number and SMS verification code you entered.
(2) When you log in to your Vocu service account, you can log in by email or Wusheng Passport phone number. We will collect your phone number and email address correspondingly for authentication to ensure that you are already a Vocu user and can log in normally.
2.1.2 Information collected when you perform real-name authentication
According to laws and regulations, you need to complete phone number or facial real-name authentication when using some or all Vocu services. If you are unable to complete or refuse to perform real-name authentication, you may not be able to use some or all Vocu services.
(1) When you perform personal real-name authentication: (a) If the service you use requires phone number authentication, we need to collect your phone number and SMS verification code. Accounts registered by phone number are deemed to have completed this type of real-name authentication by default; (b) If the service you use requires facial recognition authentication, we need to collect your name and ID number, and call the Alipay facial recognition interface to verify your facial information (we cannot obtain or collect facial information itself).
(2) When you perform enterprise real-name authentication, we need to collect your enterprise contact name, enterprise contact ID number, and enterprise contact phone number. At the same time, we may also require enterprise legal person facial recognition authentication. During the authentication process, we need to collect your name and ID number, and call facial recognition interfaces such as Alipay to verify your facial information (we cannot obtain or collect facial information itself).
2.1.3 Information collected when you perform security settings
To protect the security of your Vocu account, when you use Vocu account security setting services, we need to collect your phone number and email address as security verification methods.
2.1.4 Information collected when you purchase and use Vocu services online
(1) When you purchase and use Vocu services through bank transfer, we need to collect your order information, remitter name, remittance bank name, remittance bank card number, remittance amount, and remittance date information from the receiving bank to complete recharging to your designated Vocu account.
(2) When you purchase and use Vocu services through online payment, we need to collect your order information, online recharge channel (including Alipay, WeChat, online banking), recharge channel transaction ID, online recharge amount, and online recharge time information to complete online recharge.
2.1.5 Information collected when performing bill reconciliation
When we generate and display your consumption bill, we need to collect your Vocu service consumption volume and corresponding amount information to accurately generate your consumption bill and display it.
2.1.6 Information we collect when issuing bills to you
(1) If you choose to issue paper bills, we need to collect your recipient name, recipient address, and recipient contact information to mail paper bills to you.
(2) If you choose to issue electronic bills, we need to collect your email address so that we can send electronic bills to your designated email.
2.1.7 In order to provide continuous services and ensure service quality, we will collect and save relevant information about your login and use of services during your use of Vocu services (but will not include operations after entering the service). Relevant information specifically includes:
(1) Operation records, we will receive and record operation records and related log information about your use of Vocu services.
(2) Contract information, if you need to apply for generating electronic contracts or paper contracts online and receiving them, we need to collect your contact name, contact address, contact phone number, and email address information.
2.1.8 Information collected when you use voice cloning related services
To provide you with voice cloning related services, Vocu may collect, transmit, use, process, and store the voice of you and persons who authorize you to use their voice data through [your terminal device] to realize the functions of this service. For this purpose, we may need to:
(1) Obtain microphone permission of the terminal device;
(2) Perform environmental noise detection;
(3) Collect personal voice, content limited to reading designated text provided by this service and custom text provided by users.
2.1.9 Information collected when you use after-sales services
When you request our support or services through the work order system, service hotline, intelligent customer service, etc., we need to collect your name or account information, email, phone number, business information (such as company name, industry, position), as well as your consultation records, call recordings, and content you actively submit to us (such as text, images, videos).
2.2 When you use specific services, you may additionally collect other personal information. For specific personal information protection rules, please refer to the privacy protection statement disclosed by the specific service.
2.3 According to relevant laws and regulations and national standards, in the following circumstances, we may process your relevant personal information without seeking your authorization and consent:
2.3.1 Necessary for the personal information processor to fulfill legal obligations or legal duties;
2.3.2 Necessary for concluding or performing a contract in which you are a party;
2.3.3 Necessary to respond to public health emergencies, or to protect the life, health, and property safety of natural persons in emergency situations;
2.3.4 For implementing news reporting, public opinion supervision, and other acts for public interest, processing personal information that you have disclosed yourself or has been lawfully disclosed by others within a reasonable scope in accordance with the law;
2.3.5 Other circumstances stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
2.4 If we collect your personal information that exceeds the purposes stated in this Statement or exceeds the purposes stated at the time of collection and the scope directly or reasonably related, we will inform you again before collection and obtain your express consent in accordance with the law (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations).
2.5 Please understand that the functions and services we provide to you are constantly being updated and developed. If a function or service is not described in the foregoing but does need to process your information, we will separately explain the content, scope, and purpose of information processing to you through page prompts, interactive processes, offline notifications, etc., and obtain your consent (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations).
2.6 Circumstances where other entities collect your information
You know and understand that when you use or jump to third-party platforms to use services provided by third-party entities through the Vocu platform, the third-party entity's processing of your information is not subject to this Statement, but is subject to the third party's privacy policy or similar documents. We recommend that you carefully read and decide whether to be bound by the third party's privacy policy before using or jumping to third-party platforms to use services provided by third-party entities through this platform.
III. How We Use Cookies and Related Technologies
3.1 When you use our services, we may save your login status and assign you one or more "Cookies" (a very small text file), for example: When you visit information or services that require you to log in to provide, when you log in, we will encrypt and store your login identity in the Cookie file of your computer. You do not need to do any extra work, all collection, saving, and encryption work is automatically completed by the system.
3.2 Cookie files will be saved on your computer hard disk or device terminal flash memory, and can only be read by the servers that set them. You can delete them at any time using a browser or operating system software with a clear Cookie function.
3.3 To provide you with more convenient, fast, and smooth services, we use Cookies for the following specific purposes:
3.3.1 Remember your identity. For example: Cookies are used to record currently logged-in Vocu account (main account, sub-account) and other information to identify your identity.
3.3.2 Perform behavior recording. For example: Cookies are used to track your access behavior and provide personalized product purchase recommendations through your access behavior.
3.4 You can refuse or manage Cookies through browser settings. But please note that if you disable Cookies, your account login function may be affected, and we will not be able to provide you with personalized product purchase recommendation services.
IV. How We Use Your Personal Information
We strictly comply with the provisions of laws and regulations and agreements with users to use the collected information as described in this Statement to provide you with better services.
4.1 Information usage rules
We will use the collected information according to the following rules:
(1) We will use the information we collect to provide you with various functions and services;
(2) We will use the collected information within the purposes covered by this Statement. If we use your personal information beyond the purposes stated at the time of collection and the scope directly or reasonably related, we will inform you again before using your personal information and obtain your express consent (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations).
4.2 Messages we may send you
Vocarea may send you business notifications, service tips, bill information, payment/renewal notifications, verification messages, marketing information, and various notifications and information related to Vocu services such as service rule updates and violation handling through one or more of the following methods: web announcements, system notifications, in-site messages, emails, text messages, dedicated service communication tools, letters, etc.
V. How We Provide, Entrust Processing, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information to Third Parties
5.1 Providing to third parties
We strictly keep your personal information confidential. Under specific conditions, we may provide your information to third-party entities, including our affiliated companies, cooperative financial institutions, state organs, and our partners. Before providing information to third-party entities, we will conduct assessments in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, inform you of the name or names of the recipients, contact information, processing purposes, processing methods, and types of personal information, and obtain your separate consent (except for circumstances where consent is not required according to laws and regulations). In addition, we will also sign relevant legal documents with third-party entities and require third-party entities to comply with laws and regulations when using your personal information, and process personal information within the scope of processing purposes, processing methods, and types of personal information that have been informed to you, and require third-party entities to adopt management measures and technical means to protect your personal information. (2) When you use the Vocu market to purchase third-party services, we will provide the third-party service provider with your account information to complete service delivery and billing.
(3) When you use services provided by Vocarea's affiliated companies, we will provide affiliated companies with your personal information (including account information, billing information, etc.), and the affiliated companies will provide you with transaction support, service support, or security support to bring you a better business experience. If we share your sensitive personal information, we will seek your consent again, subject to your authorization when using the corresponding service.
(4) When state administrative organs or judicial organs require us to provide your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations and regulatory provisions, we will cooperate and provide according to the requirements of state administrative organs or judicial organs.
(5) Your personal information provided to third parties according to your agreement with us on personal information provision or when obtaining your separate consent in specific scenarios.
5.2 Entrusted processing
To ensure the quality of services we provide, we may entrust partners to process information. When entrusting processing, we will comply with laws and regulations and regulatory requirements to ensure that your rights and interests are not affected.
5.3 Transfer
When we undergo mergers, divisions, dissolutions, acquisitions, asset transfers, asset restructuring, or bankruptcy liquidation, etc., if it is necessary to transfer your personal information to third parties, we will require third parties to continue to be bound by this Statement in accordance with laws and regulations and regulatory requirements.

(2) Under normal circumstances, we will only store your personal information for the shortest time necessary to realize the service purpose or the period stipulated by laws and regulations. After exceeding the retention period, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it.

VII. How You Exercise Your Rights
During your use of Vocu services, we will provide you with corresponding operation settings so that you can exercise various rights related to your personal information. You can refer to the following methods for operation. If your needs are not explained in this Statement, you can contact us through Vocu service work orders, customer service, etc.
7.1 View and copy your personal information
(1) After you log in to the Vocu official website, click on the account and enter to view your personal information, including: account information, real-name authentication information, operation history, message subscription, and other information.
(2) You log in to your Vocu service account and enter the cost center to view relevant billing information.
(3) If you need a copy of your personal information, you can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10. After verifying your identity, we will provide you with a copy of your personal information in our services.
7.2 Correct and supplement your personal information
(1) After you enter the account page, you can modify your account nickname in the account information, and modify your bound phone number and email information in the login method.
(2) After you enter the real-name authentication page, if the system function allows, you can modify your real-name authentication information by clicking to modify the real-name authentication subject; but your modification of real-name authentication information needs to comply with Vocarea's relevant regulations.
(3) If you find that your information is inaccurate or incomplete, you can also contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 for correction and supplementation.
7.3 Delete your personal information
Except for circumstances otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, in the following circumstances, we will proactively delete your personal information, and you can also contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 to request deletion of personal information:
(1) The processing purpose of your personal information by us has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary to achieve the processing purpose;
(2) We stop providing services, or the retention period has expired;
(3) You withdraw the consent you previously made to us;
(4) We violate laws, administrative regulations, or agreements with you in processing your personal information;
(5) Other circumstances where personal information should be deleted as stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
If the retention period stipulated by laws and administrative regulations has not expired, or it is technically difficult to delete personal information, we will stop processing your personal information except for storage and taking necessary security protection measures.
7.4 Cancel account
You can click on the account cancellation page to query how to perform account cancellation. After you cancel your account, we will stop providing you with products or services and stop processing your personal information, and delete or anonymize your personal information, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
7.5 Transfer your personal information
You can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 to request us to transfer your personal information to a third party you designate. Under the premise of complying with laws and regulations, we will provide you with ways to transfer.
7.6 Change the scope of your consent
You can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10 to request to change the scope of your consent or withdraw the consent you have made. After you withdraw your consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information and will not be able to continue to provide you with services corresponding to the withdrawal of consent, but it does not affect our provision of other services to you based on your consent that has not been withdrawn. In addition, your decision to withdraw consent does not affect personal information processing carried out previously based on your consent.
7.7 Respond to your above requests
If you cannot exercise your rights according to the above methods, or you need us to explain the personal information processing rules, you can contact us through the methods provided in Article 10. To ensure security, we may need you to provide a written request or prove your identity in other ways. Under normal circumstances, we will accept your request within fifteen days or the period stipulated by laws and regulations after receiving your feedback. For requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require excessive technical means, bring risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are very impractical, we reserve the right to refuse.
Despite the above agreement, but in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and national standards, in the following circumstances, we may be unable to respond to your request:
(1) Related to our fulfillment of obligations stipulated by laws and regulations;
(2) Related to national security and national defense security;
(3) Directly related to public security, public health, and major public interests;
(4) Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments, etc.;
(5) There is sufficient evidence that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights;
(6) To maintain the life, property, and other major legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals but it is difficult to obtain consent from the person;
(7) Responding to your request will seriously damage the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;
(8) Involving trade secrets.
